Yay! A new hat pattern!

Pattern: Rhizome
Yarn: Doodles in String Worsted in 'Sweetness' (light blue version) and Cascade 220 in '1960' (dark teal version)

I started working on this one several months ago, so I'm happy to finally get it out in the world. I had some fantastic test knitters (thank you bgow, mugginsquilts, chau7, jnelson8705 and bugsmama!), which helped tremendously.

This hat is super cozy because the cables pull in snugly and there's a nice deep brim you have the option of folding to the inside or outside. I think it works for either gender (my husband thinks the folded under version looks more feminine. Perhaps). The cable pattern is charted but I've included written chart instructions as well.

In case you're interested, here are two earlier versions. They still gets lots of wear, as it's been crazy cold here. We can always use hats.
