blogiversary 4.0

Things have been busy lately. And half my energy is going towards just keeping warm in these frigid temperatures. But I will have knitting to show soon. In the meantime, I realized it's my blogiversary next Tuesday, so I thought I'd do a wee giveaway. Leave a comment telling me what you're knitting, or spinning, or thinking about in general. I'll pick one randomly next week on the 29th and that person can pick an item of their choice from my shop.

Stay warm!

I'm knitting a stripey blanket, and there's also a sock on the needles.

  2. Happy Blogiversary. I do so enjoy reading your blog and seeing your wonderful creativity.
At present I'm knitting on a sweater for my grandson. I put it on waster yarn today for him to try on and I need to knit a few more inches before starting the ribbing for the bottom. I'm making it a bit big so he'll be able to wear it next year. He is a sweet boy who loves his grandma's knitting. He once wore a pair of handknitted socks a whole week and that included a trip to the bounce house. Needless to say the socks were ripped back and reknitted. Thank goodness I had lots of extra yarn. Sorry for the long reply.

  4. How exciting to be celebrating your blogiversary! I have only a few items on my needles as I'm trying to be good about finishing objects in a timely fashion. I've got a top-down sweater on the go, a pair of toe-up socks just beginning, and my long-term project which will take me through the year -- the beekeeper's quilt. Thanks for the giveaway!

Happy Anniversary to the blog! No knitting project is going at the moment, but a warm sweater would be awesome right about now. :)

  8. Happy blogiversay. Four years Wow!. It's hot here where I live down is Australia. Nonetheless I have nearly finished a winter jumper (just the neckband to go but I have sewn it up), am working on a pair of sideways garter stich and lace gloves and am making a cowl next for a KAL beginning on 1st Feb!

  9. Happy Blogiversary! I think I just missed mine, will have to go and double check. Just finished Leaving, utter disaster, doesn't fit, feel like a total rookie. Must go back to some colorwork to regain my happy zone, perhaps a hat.

  12. Happy blogiversary. I've got a lace shawl and a cardigan on the needles and will probably cast on a sock before either of them is done. I have to have a different type of knit for different situations and moods.
